Site Description:
In October 2020, the applicant (Blue Marmot Solar Park LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of EDP Renewables North America) submitted a Notice of Intent (NOI) to apply for an Application for Site Certificate (ASC) to the Energy Facility Siting Council (EFSC) for the Blue Marmot Solar Energy Facility, which was a solar photovoltaic energy generation facility with a nominal generating capacity of up to 50 megawatts, and included related or supporting facilities, and two alternative route segments for the 34.5-kV collector lines in and near the Town of Lakeview in Lake County.
Status:

Terminated. The NOI expired on October 27, 2022. Should the applicant decide to permit and develop the proposed facility, it would be required to begin again and submit a new, current NOI.
