Statewide CTE Advisory Council

Overview

The Oregon CTE State Plan calls for the formation of a Statewide Advisory Council comprising students, counselors, educators, and administrators from secondary and postsecondary education institutions; workforce development; and partners from business and industry. The committee will provide ongoing advice, guidance, and feedback on the strategies and corresponding progress being made throughout the implementation of the CTE State Plan and its goals.

Please Note: The public is welcome to attend virtual meetings and/or submit comments, as per the guidelines below:

To attend virtually:
  • Please email us for the meeting link no later than 5:00 p.m. on the Monday immediately preceding the meeting date.
  • If you are interested in making a comment at the meeting, please indicate that in your email to help us allocate sufficient time for all those wishing to speak.
Guidelines for public participation:
  • You will be invited to introduce yourself and share any comments during the designated Public Comment section of the meeting (generally within the first ten minutes). Each speaker will be limited to three minutes for comments.
  • Following your comments, you will have the option to observe the rest of the meeting. Please note that your microphone will be muted, and you will not be able to participate in breakout room discussions.
To submit a comment:
  • If you wish to share a comment but will not attend the virtual meeting, you may submit your comment via email no later than 5:00 p.m. on the Monday immediately preceding the meeting date.
