Each Biennium, the Oregon State Legislature authorizes funding to be disbursed through the Oregon Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate Test Fee Program. This program pays the AP/IB test fees and registration cost for low income students. These funds can also be used to reduce the cost for all students taking AP & IB tests.
The document AP and IB Examination Fees Funding 2024-25 explains the current year’s testing fees and the criteria used to qualify students to obtain full fee reductions.
The IB reimbursement request form will be available on May 12, 2025. Requests due by June 13, 2025.
AP test reimbursement is coordinated directly with the AP program and does not require districts to complete a separate form.
For more information about this program, please contact Kristidel McGregor.
AP and IB Credit Transfer Policy
Each Year members of the statewide AP/IB Workgroup update the Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate Statewide Course Credit Policy. The AP/IB Course Credit Policy provides guidance on the minimum examination scores and their transferrable credit. The most recent information can be found on the Higher Education Coordinating Commission's webpage College Credit While in High School.
