School Level Expenditure Report

School Level Expenditure Report:

The School Level Expenditure Report with Federal and State/Local Breakout displays all required school-level expenditure data and information detailed in Section 1111(h)(1)(C)(x) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA), as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) directs the reporting of: “the per-pupil expenditures of Federal, State, and Local funds, including actual personnel expenditures and actual non-personnel expenditures of Federal, State, and Local funds, disaggregated by source of funds, for each local educational agency and each school in the State for the preceding fiscal year.”   

 

District to School PPE Comparison:

The District to School PPE Comparison Report displays interactive visuals of data and information for the district-wide Per Pupil Expenditure (PPE) amount by funding source compared to each school’s Average Daily Membership (ADM) in the selected district. This report can be filtered by district(s), school(s), school type, and school ADM. Clear filter selections to see statewide totals.  

The data for this report excludes Schools containing “SD” to remove Educational Service Districts (ESD) and School Districts, School Average Daily Membership (ADM) less than 1.0 ADM, and Total Per Pupil Expenditure of more than $100,000. 

 

PPE Year over Year Comparison:

The Per Pupil Expenditure (PPE) Year over Year Comparison Report displays visuals of data and information by selecting a district and/or school to compare Per Pupil Expenditures (PPE) and District Average Daily Membership (ADM) averaged per schools in the selected district. Clear filter selections to see statewide totals. 

The data for this report excludes “ESD” to remove Educational Service Districts (ESD), School Average Daily Membership (ADM) less than 1.0 ADM, and Total Per Pupil Expenditure more than $100,000. 

 

District School Type and Fund Percent by School:

The District School Type and Fund Source Percent by School Report displays interactive visuals of data and information for all schools in the selected district, comparing each school’s per pupil expenditure (PPE) by funding source in relation to the school’s average daily membership (ADM) for the selected school year. Funding sources include State, Local, and Federal funds, which are also displayed as percentages of expenditures for each school. Plus, this report displays the count of each school type in the selected district. 

The data for this report excludes “blank” and “ESD” Districts, School Type “0”, and Total Per Pupil Expenditure more than $100,000.
