Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act-Perkins V 

For 2024-2025 Perkins Awards: 20% of allocated funds will be available in July 2024. The remainder of the funds will be released in October 2024.

  • Increasing knowledge in equitable best practices, industry standards, and program improvement
  • Increasing student focal group participation in work-based learning and career exploration

Clackamas ESD

  • Increasing work-based learning participation with the goal of exceeding Oregon performance targets
  • Supporting partnerships among schools/programs/teachers, secondary/postsecondary institutions, and industry partners
  • Updating equipment/software to meet industry standards
  • Increasing retention rates of participants/concentrators from 36% to 46%, expecially among focal populations
