The Oregon Department of Education and Federal Systems Team strive to build collaborative partnerships with districts through the implementation of federal grant programs. The monitoring of federal grant programs allows the Oregon Department of Education and districts to collaborate while providing equitable education to all students and ensuring accountability.
The Every Student Succeeds Act requires states to develop accountability models that meaningfully differentiate schools for supports. As part of Oregon’s commitment to strengthening school district systems, ODE will partner with school districts to better support schools in need of targeted or comprehensive supports.
These letter templates have been translated into the most predominant languages spoken by multilingual families in Oregon. The templates have been crafted and approved by Title I-A and Title III Education Specialists. Districts may not change or revise the language in the letter templates. Each parent/guardian notification template can be downloaded and personalized by updating the highlighted fields and adding district letterhead. English versions of each letter can be referenced for field entry definitions, as needed.
