Safety is paramount in the hands-on environment of CTE programs. This page provides resources to help empower educators, administrators, and industry and community partners to create and maintain comprehensive safety systems tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of CTE programs.
Collectively, these resources form a comprehensive guide, fostering a culture of safety and excellence within CTE programs and preparing students for successful careers in a secure learning environment.
The CTE Safety System was originally developed by Salem-Keizer Public Schools, whose pioneering work has provided a critical framework for the resources provided here. We also acknowledge the collaborative efforts and contributions of educational and safety experts toward further refining this resource.
