In addition to the Advisory Group, eight focus-area Working Groups were created to help inform the development of the Oregon Energy Strategy. The Working Groups are ODOE’s resource for technical and community expertise.

At Working Group meetings, participants will be guided through how the model works and key assumptions for the model. They will work to understand and inform how tradeoffs are evaluated in the analysis, diving into issues like equity and affordability, land use, public health, and jobs and economic development. We encourage written comments to be submitted to the Oregon Energy Strategy Comment Portal.​ The deadline for comments on the Oregon Energy Strategy's Draft Alternative Scenarios​ was ​Oct. 11, ​2024, and the comments received may be found here​. However, ​ODOE's Comment Portal will remain open for other comments and feedback. ODOE will also share specific upcoming feedback opportunities.
