Authorization Requirements
Individuals currently holding a Specialist Authorization are required to submit documentation of only twenty-six supervisor competencies. The other competencies are met through prior submission of the Specialist Authorization and do not need to be resubmitted.
The process and materials for Specialist to Supervisor Authorization are identical to developing a portfolio and applying for any Initial Authorization. Applicants use the Specialist to Supervisor Competencies for documenting the 26 identified competencies.
