Title I-D Neglected and Delinquent or At-Risk Children

Title I-D reauthorized under the Every Student Succeeds Act

This grant has two subparts:

  • Subpart 1: Provides allocations for State Agency programs designed to serve the needs of students residing in state funded facilities for neglected or delinquent children and youth.
  • Subpart 2: Provides allocations to LEA's or school districts having local facilities for neglected or delinquent children or youth within district boundaries. Subpart 2 funds can be used to supplement and support programs for students currently in locally ran facilities, transition, as well as those for students defined as "at-risk" by the Title I Part D Statute.
