Statewide Higher Education Snapshots

The Statewide Higher Education Snapshots are an annual resource highlighting key public higher education data for Oregonians for one academic year. Here you can find the most recent snapshots for all community colleges combined, all public universities combined, all public institutions, and each of Oregon’s 17 community colleges and seven public universities.

The Statewide Higher Education Snapshots are one-page data visualizations that illustrate higher education measures related to enrollment, affordability, and outcomes for all Oregon resident learners, with a particular focus on underserved groups. The most recent set of Statewide Higher Education Snapshots, released in September 2023, are based on Oregon learners in 2021-22. The Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC) Office of Research and Data publishes the Statewide Snapshots annually. To view the snapshots, click on the institution or data set of interest on this page.

Definitions on the data visualizations are described on the second page of each snapshot. In addition, you can find additional data for multiple years by exploring our interactive data dashboards on students and outcomes.
