Future Ready Oregon - Resources for Current and Prospective Grantees

The Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC) administers several Future Ready Oregon grants and grant-funded programs, including Workforce Ready Grants, Prosperity 10,000, Workforce Benefits Navigators, Postsecondary Career Pathway Training Program Grants, and Credit for Prior Learning Grants.

Current Grant Opportunities

Requests for Applications have closed for the next round of competitive Workforce Ready Grant funding. This is the final grant funding available through the Oregon Legislature's 2022 investment in Future Ready Oregon. The priorities for this funding opportunity were informed by the HECC's Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Technology Industry Consortia. Workforce Ready Grants invest in new and innovative education and training programs that center partnerships and collaboration – programs that approach workforce education and training differently, by identifying barriers to participation, program completion, and career advancement, and providing job-training participants with the supports and wraparound services they need to be successful.

The HECC anticipates that Workforce Ready Grant award decisions will be announced in fall 2024.
