NPDES and WPCF Wastewater Permits in Your DEQ Online

Starting May 14, 2025, NPDES individual permit holders, WPCF individual permit holders, General permit registrants, and WPCF Onsite permit holders will use Your DEQ Online as a one-stop place for paying invoices, submitting reports, and managing water quality permits. 

​​​Your DEQ Online will be the system to use for applying for a permit, applying to renew a permit, registering for a General Permit, submitting monitoring data, submitting fees, updating information, and a lot more!

As of May 14, 2025, permittees will be able to establish or update their user accounts and link their account with the associated facility or facilities. Guidance will be available on how to use Your DEQ Online, including account registration instructions and user guides for permit actions.

 With Your DEQ Online, you will be able to: 

  • ​Apply for new NPDES and WPCF individual permit or register for coverage under a general permit
  • Apply to renew, modify, transfer, or terminate permit coverage
  • Request a name change or update contact information
  • Request plan reviews
  • Submit discharge monitoring reports, annual reports, noncompliance reports, and other permit-required reports
  • Pay annual fees, permit action fees, enforcement penalties, and more. Your DEQ Online accepts credit cards and electronic fund transfer payments from your bank account. 
  • Manage and track permits to allow responsible officials to check status, view files, and connect with staff at DEQ
  • Access public records with the click of a button​

After the transition to Your DEQ Online is complete, DEQ's NPDES and WPCF Individual permits, General Permits, and the WPCF Onsite Program will be available on Your DEQ Online. At that time, responsible officials and consultants will use Your DEQ Online for applications, reporting, invoicing, and payments.

Switching over:

After the transition, DEQ's NPDES and WPCF individual and general permits will be available on Your DEQ Online. 

During the transition, DEQ will accept applications up to the go live date, after which time applications will be returned to applicants within instructions on how to use the new system. That go live date will be noted here as soon as it has been rescheduled. ​

    • 1400-B Wineries & Small Food

    • 2401 Tier 1 Graywater Reuse and Disposal System

Once the transition is completed, permit holders will start reporting DMRs or annual reports in Your DEQ Online. The start date for DMR and annual report submissions in Your DEQ Online depends on your permit type:

  • General permits with monthly or quarterly reporting: October 2025

  • General permits with annual reporting: January – May 2026

  • Individual WPCF permits: July 2026

  • Individual NPDES permits: October 2026​
