Case Management System Impact

What's changing?

We will know the system's full impact once a vendor comes on board. Based on the system features we've asked for, here are a few of the ways we expect the system to affect people.

  • The new system allows you to fill out electronic files remotely on a mobile device or at your desktop computer.
  • When someone moves between case management entities, you can access their info through the system instead of emailing it back and forth.
  • You won't need to use paper tracking sheets anymore. The system has dashboards where you can see tasks, timelines and deadlines. It also sends alerts when assessments, Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and other paperwork is due.

  • Instead of emailing CMEs for data, you'll use a system that makes it easy to access data for quality checks and reports.
  • You won't have to track requests for info or files by email anymore. The new system's streamlined communication lets you directly collaborate with CMEs.
  • You can use dashboards in the new system to track tasks, timelines, and deadlines. You’ll no longer have to rely on spreadsheets or other manual methods.

  • After the system is in place for CME staff and ODDS employees, you'll be able to log into a public portal to access your info. Before, you had to rely on your case manager to find your service details, files and options.
  • You'll have more ways to communicate with your case manager through the system, beyond emails or phone calls.
