Let’s join our colleague and community partners in celebrating Rosh Hashanah, which began Sunday, Sept. 25, at sunset and ended Tuesday, Sept. 27, at sundown. Rosh Hashanah means “head of the year” or “beginning of the new year,” according to Britannica. That’s why it’s referred to as the Jewish New Year. Rosh Hashanah is a time of year to look back on mistakes from the previous year and plan for changes in the coming year. This is a similar practice to when people make resolutions for the start of the new calendar year.
