The Oregon Board of Pharmacy understands the critical role Pharmacists-in-Charge (PICs) play in ensuring patient safety and medication access. To support you in this important role, we offer a comprehensive PIC training course.
Per OAR 855-115-0205:
The 3 module course is available on-demand, meaning you can access it 24/7 whenever you're ready.
Participants must complete all 3 modules (approximately 1 hour each) of the course to earn a PIC training course certificate. To view the modules, please click on the link(s) below.
While this program is Oregon board-approved, it is not accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE). Therefore, completion of this programs will not automatically appear in the NABP CPE Monitor*. Participants can upload the course completion certificate for this program into their e-Gov profile and comply with CPE record retention requirements in OAR 855-135.
*Pharmacists can upgrade to the NABP CPE Monitor Plus program for an annual fee to track non-ACPE credits. This upgrade allows a Pharmacist to manually upload credits from board-approved programs.
