Can I get help?

Yes! County health departments and community-based organizations around the state provide HIV case management services to people living with HIV and their families. Click here or on the “Find a Case Manager” link to see which agency is in your area. Call the agency and ask for a new client intake. The agency will provide information on eligibility and their services. The information you share will be kept confidential. 


Who can help me get services?

HIV case managers!
Case managers are located throughout the state and they know about the services and programs available in their area to help people living with HIV and their families. Case managers can help determine eligibility for various programs, coordinate medical care and identify resources.  Click here or on the “Find a Case Manager” link to see which agency is in your area.

Who can help me pay for health care?

 
CAREAssist, Oregon’s AIDS Drug Assistance Program can help pay for HIV medication, insurance premiums and co-payments on prescriptions and medical services. Your HIV Case Manager can help you enroll with CAREAssist, or you can contact CAREAssist directly at: 971-673-0144, care.assist@odhsoha.oregon.gov. CAREAssist has a long list of drugs that are provided at no charge to clients. If you have insurance that does not cover the full cost of prescriptions, CAREAssist can cover those deductibles co-payments and co-insurance costs.
