Vehicles

The CERTA grants provides funding for Oregonians to make cost-saving upgrades to vehicles and invest in electric vehicle charging stations for their community.

Electric Vehicles

$5000 for eligible used zero emission vehicles and $7500 for eligible new zero emission vehicles.


The Oregon Clean Vehicle Rebate program supports the purchase or lease of eligible new or used battery electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles. The program is open to Oregon residents with household income below 400% of the federal poverty guideline. Nonprofit, low-income service providers are also eligible.

Zero Emission Vehicles

  1. Apply for grants to replace older, polluting diesel engines with zero-emissions vehicles. 
  2. Apply for the ZERO fleet grant for rebates on the purchases of medium and heavy duty zero emission trucks and buses. Organizations must be licensed to do business in Oregon.

Charging Stations

  1. $125,000 per charger, up to two chargers per project
  2. $8,000 per regular charger, and $80,000 per fast charger

  1. These grants help private fleet owners purchase and install electric vehicle charging equipment for their electric and zero emission fleets.

  2. ODOT's Community Charging Rebates program offers rebates to reduce the cost of purchasing, installation and maintenance for Level 2 charging equipment at a workplace, multi-family housing, and publicly accessible parking locations throughout Oregon
