Air Quality Permits in Your DEQ Online

A new, streamlined tool for working with the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality is coming Nov. 20, 2024. The following programs will begin using Your DEQ Online, a one-stop place for you to manage your air quality permit.

  • Air Contaminant Discharge Permits
  • Area Source Registration
  • Title V Permits
  • Source Testing
  • Emissions Inventory
  • Cleaner Air Oregon


Your DEQ Online is a new, streamlined tool for working with the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality. You will be able to:

  • Submit applications for notices of construction, new permits, permit renewals, permit modifications, permit transfers and permit terminations.
  • Submit permit-required reports, including annual reports, semi-annual reports and other information required by your permit or requested by DEQ.
  • Expanded payment options for annual fees, permit action fees, notices of construction, enforcement penalties, and more. Your DEQ Online accepts credit cards and electronic fund transfer payments from your bank account.
  • Access public records to find permit documents, correspondence, past invoices and payment records with the click of a button.​

​​Air Contaminant Discharge Permit, Area Source Registration (excluding dry cleaner permits) Title V, Emission Inventory and Cleaner Air Oregon programs will launch in late-November 2024. The greenhouse gas program is already live.

We will be moving information from old systems to the new Your DEQ Online platform. Please complete and submit any permit requests by the end of Oct. 29 if possible. The launch period may impact processing times for applications submitted after Oct. 29, 2024. Please reach out to your permit writer if you have any questions.​


November 2024

  • Communications will go out to regulated entities with information on registering user accounts in Your DEQ Online starting Nov. 20, 2024, or updating existing accounts.
  • DEQ will offer webinars and trainings for permittees on how to use Your DEQ Online.

January 2025 and beyond

  • Regulated entities will use Your DEQ Online for annual reporting, invoicing and payments. Permittees will continue to receive paper invoices for the first year of transition.​
