Providers and partners who receive funding from the state through a Department of Early Learning and Care (DELC) contract or agreement are required to complete an equity training.

Whether you choose your own training option or participate in the DELC training below, your organization must submit proof of completion through this online form:
The online training created by the Department of Early Learning and Care is available in English and Spanish. The training includes findings from a recent survey and a series of listening sessions with Oregon families about their experiences related to child care during the COVID-19 pandemic. As part of the DELC training, you are expected to spend time reflecting and discussing what you learned with colleagues and peers. Completing this training is one way to fulfill your equity training requirement.
PLEASE NOTE: If your organization has already completed an equity training on its own and has provided proof to DELC, your requirement has been fulfilled. If you prefer the option of choosing your own training, please contact your program manager or contract administrator at DELC for approval.
