Participating in IHA

If your previous home was damaged or destroyed by the 2020 Labor Day wildfires or straight-line winds, the ReOregon Intermediate Housing Assistance (IHA) program may be right for you.

In 2025, IHA will be available to all eligible households, initially prioritizing renters who are currently receiving funds from Oregon’s Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERA2). These renters can continue to receive funding through IHA beginning Jan. 1, 2025, if they qualify.

How To Apply to IHA

To apply to IHA, you must work with your local community action agency (CAA) to complete an application and submit proof of income.

For questions or more details about your CAA, contact the ReOregon Call Center at housingsupport@reoregon.org or call 877-510-6800 or 541-250-0938.

If you are currently working with a CAA and have questions or need help with your application, contact your case manager.

Opting Out of IHA

If you are a current ERA2 participant, you can opt out of IHA in writing before Dec. 31, 2024. Contact your case manager for more information.

Please note: If you decide to opt out, rental assistance will end Dec. 31, 2024, and you may be required to leave your property.
