Continuing Education Credit Disclosures

Target Audience

This course has been developed for physicians and all other licensed healthcare professionals. This educational module qualifies as the web-based pain management training offered by the Oregon Pain Management Commission.

Learning Objectives

After completing this enduring, online educational module, participants will be able to:
  • Improve knowledge of best practices in caring for patients experiencing pain.
  • Promote coordinated team-based care.
  • Understand how individuals experience pain.
  • Give providers strategies for patient support.

Accreditation

Physicians:

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the Joint Providership of the Oregon Medical Association and the Oregon Pain Management Commission. The Oregon Medical Association is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Oregon Medical Association designates this enduring materials activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nurses:

This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by Oregon Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Approval valid through February 28,2027 via OCEAN ID #2024-48.

Participants can earn 1.0 contact hours.

Pharmacists: 

Approved for 1.0 hours of CE credit by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy.

Requirements for Successful Completion of this Educational Activity

To obtain a CE certificate for this activity, the learner must complete the following criteria:
  • Register and sign on to the online catalog for the course (equivalent of signing the attendance sheet).
  • Attend the entire session.
  • Complete the post-test and course evaluation online before receiving your certificate.
Participants who successfully complete the above requirements will receive a CE certificate via our online catalog system OR you can sign into your dashboard and download one later. If you have difficulty receiving your certificate, you can contact our customer support team and have one emailed to you upon request.
