About the Reports
The Oregon Trauma System Reports are one of many components in our continuing commitment to assess and reshape Oregon's trauma system and to improve patient care. These reports are intended to assist health professionals who provide public education, to assist local and state leaders in understanding and evaluating the delivery of trauma care in Oregon, and for those interested in learning more about one of the most serious public health problems in the State of Oregon.
This informative report contains statistical information about traumatic injuries and trauma care in Oregon. Information used to compile the Biennial Report is obtained from the Oregon Trauma Registry, Department of Transportation, Criminal Justice Division, and death certificates.
