The Oregon Medical Marijuana Act allows medical use of cannabis for qualifying medical conditions.
Public use and driving while impaired remain illegal.
Cities or counties may adopt an ordinance prohibiting the establishment of a medical marijuana dispensary or medical marijuana processing site; and/or may prohibit the establishment of cannabis producers, processors, wholesalers and/or retailers within its jurisdiction.
The ICAA prohibits smoking in the workplace and within 10 feet of all entrances, exits and windows or air vents. The ICAA includes the use of "inhalant delivery systems" including vape pens and e-cigarettes that can be used to deliver cannabinoids, nicotine and other substances.
