Climate Impact Compendium

Overview

The Oregon Climate Impact Compendium (CIC) synthesizes climate and health resource information in a virtual hub for those involved in climate adaptation actions. It identifies, updates, and compiles data and findings concerning: local climate forecasting/projections, current and potential climate-related health impacts, affected systems and social determinants of health, and adaptive capacity to climate hazards that are affecting Oregon communities.

The goals of this compendium are to:

  • Increase accessibility to key data and information on how climate change is affecting the health of Oregonians;
  • Elevate community-based efforts to advance equitable climate resilience and highlight climate adaptation work across the state;
  • Create linking opportunities between the federal government, the state government, local governments, and communities through knowledge sharing.

Please explore the tools and resources below to understand the impact climate change is having on the health of Oregonians, read about the latest climate events and promising adaptation projects happening at the local and community level.

This Climate Impact Compendium has been assembled by the Oregon Health Authority’s Climate and Health Program with funding from the CDC and support from partnerships.
