Project Description
Background
The Medical Monitoring Project (MMP) was a project designed to produce nationally representative data on people living with HIV/AIDS in the United States. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in collaboration with the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), worked with state and local health departments to conduct MMP across the nation. As one of 23 project areas, the Oregon MMP aimed to gain a deeper understanding of health-related experiences and needs of people living with HIV/AIDS who are receiving HIV care in Oregon.
