Member Reimbursement

OHA offers stipends and travel reimbursement to Consumer and Family representatives who do not otherwise receive compensation for their time at full council or subcommittee meetings.

​Stipends ​​​​for attendance at meetings are $50 per meeting.

Stipends are considered taxable income. If any member receives $600 or more in stipends per year, OHA will send the member a 1099 form and ​report the income to the IRS as required.


​Reimbursable expenses include:

  • Mileage at state rate
  • Lodging at state rate (for members who live more than 70 miles from Salem)
  • Per diem for meals ​per state policy
  • Child care per state policy

Travel reimbursements are not considered taxable income.

Complete the appropriate form(s) below.

Submit the ​form(s) to your council or subcommittee liaison​ during or promptly after each meeting.
