HERC Value-based Benefits Subcommittee meets March 14 in Salem

What: A public meeting of the Health Evidence Review Commission’s Value-based Benefits Subcommittee.

When: March 14, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: Barbara Roberts Human Services Building, Rooms 137 A-D, 500 Summer Street NE, Salem. The public also may attend via webinar and a listen-only conference line at 888-204-5984, participant code 801373.

Agenda: Items scheduled for discussion could include, but may not be limited to, the following topics: pulmonary rehabilitation; pneumatic compression devices and non-LANA certification for lymphedema; non-invasive testing for liver fibrosis guideline; screening for ophthalmologic complications of high-risk drugs; embolization of vascular malformations; posterior urethral valves; breast MRI for breast cancer screening in breast cancer survivors; injections for plantar fasciitis; lower extremity chronic venous disease; massage therapy; shoulder arthroplasty for rotator cuff conditions; counseling for high-risk pregnant and postpartum women; endometrial ablation requirements for menstrual bleeding disorders; indications for adenotonsillectomy/tonsillectomy; 2020 biennial review: reprioritization of certain chronic pain conditions; changes to the Prioritized List arising from coverage guidance: newer Interventions for osteoarthritis of the knee; various straightforward coding and guideline changes and corrections.
