Oregon Money Management Program

The Oregon Money Management Program (OMMP) offers free services to seniors and people with disabilities who have limited resources.

Trained and supervised staff work one-on-one with consumers. Consumers can enroll in multiple OMMP services. This program is funded by ODHS and offered statewide through local providers.

Services

Representative payee service

This service is for consumers who don't have the capacity to manage their own federal benefits such as Social Security and Veterans benefits. Local providers apply to become the payee for the consumer's federal benefits and staff are appointed by Social Security to manage day-to-day financial tasks.

Bill-pay service

This service is for consumers who have the capacity to make decisions about their personal finances but need help keeping on track. Bill-pay service can be short-term (1 to 3 months) or long-term to meet the consumer's needs.

Income Cap Trust (ICT)

ICTs are for people who need Medicaid services but are not eligible for Medicaid because their income is above the Medicaid income cap. Local providers become the trustee for ICTs and staff manage the consumer's day-to-day financial needs as outlined in the trust.

""Bill-pay service and Income Cap Trust services may not be available through all local providers.
