Wolf Depredation Grant

ODA's Wolf Depredation Compensation and Financial Assistance Grant Program complements Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife's Wolf Conservation and Management Plan. It helps counties develop and maintain programs that reduce wolf-livestock conflicts and assist livestock producers dealing with wolf-related losses.

The 2025 Oregon Legislature passed SB 777, making the first changes to the program in over a decade. ODA is starting the process to update the administrative rules that will put this law into action and we need to hear from you directly. There are three listening sessions scheduled for late August and early September. Please visit our rulemaking webpage, under Rules in Progress, for more information.
