How can my organization become an approved verification body?

To become a verification body for the GHG Reporting program, your organization must be accredited by either the California Air Resources Board's MRR Program or the ANSI National Accreditation Board's GHG Validation and Verification Body accreditation program and submit all materials required in the verification body application. 

DEQ intends to offer a training and exams period for GHG verifiers from Oct. 21 through Nov. 15, 2024, with exams taking place the week of Nov. 11, 2024. To request an application, please fill out the request form linked below. Applications will be accepted until Wednesday July 31, 2024:
