Item A: New DEQ Director introduction
The commission will introduce DEQ's new director, hired in February 2023. Director Feldon will reflect on upcoming work for the agency and key priorities. The director will also address any questions pertaining to the written Director's Report (informational).

Item B:
Legislative and budget updates (30 minutes)
DEQ will provide updates on the 2023 Legislative Session, including bills under consideration and DEQ's budget process (informational).
10:05 a.m.
Item C:
Upper Yaquina TMDL development (45 minutes)
DEQ will present updates on the development of the Upper Yaquina TMDL, which will be proposed for adoption by rule to the commission in late 2023 (informational).

Item D:
Commissioner reports (20 minutes)
Commissioners will provide verbal updates of their recent activities of interest to EQC and DEQ (informational).

Item E:
Public forum (40 minutes)
The commission will hold a comment opportunity for any environmental and public health issues relevant to DEQ and EQC. Sign-ups to comment will occur at the start of this agenda item, and people are asked to limit comments to three minutes or less. Comment times may be reduced at the discretion of the commission if needed.
