Working lunch and executive session
The commission will have a working lunch and executive session, held pursuant to ORS 192.660(2)(f) and (h). Executive session is a closed meeting for commissioners, specific DEQ staff and staff from the Oregon Department of Justice. This session is to discuss confidential legal information and receive legal updates from DOJ. Per state law, members of the media may attend executive session; however, they may not report on the specifics or details of any discussions or information presented during executive session.

Item F: Public forum
The commission will hold a comment opportunity for any environmental and public health issues relevant to DEQ and EQC.
- Sign-ups to comment will occur at the start of this agenda item, with directions provided verbally and on-screen for attendees.

- Comment times may be reduced at the discretion of the commission.

Executive session: DEQ Director recruitment
The commission will hold an executive session, pursuant to ORS 192.660(2)(a). Executive session is a closed meeting for commissioners, designated DEQ staff and staff from the Oregon Department of Justice. This session is for the commission to consider process elements and next steps for the recruitment of the DEQ Director. Per state law, members of the media may attend executive session; however, they may not report on the specifics or details of any discussions or information presented during executive session.

Item G: DEQ Director recruitment (Action)
The commission will deliberate and take action on proposed finalists for the DEQ Director recruitment and discuss timelines and next steps for the recruitment process.
