Administration
In addition to providing leadership and administrative support to the units of the division, the administration team works to increase connection with agency leaders at all levels, especially among smaller agencies, boards and commissions. Internal to DAS, they coordinate DAS policy development, administrative rules and continuity of operations plans (COOP).
Accountability
This team's emphasis is on moving state government forward in a coordinated way, providing professional project management for initiatives supporting the Governor’s goals. They also provide DAS with data analysis and governance, and work to advance data systems and capabilities.
Communications
The DAS Communications team coordinates DAS' internal and external communications, including public records requests and media relations. They set standards for department communications and serves as a resource for DAS employees in communicating in a consistent and professional manner.
Legislative Relations
DAS provides coordination and guidance of legislative activities to state agency staff who regularly work with the Governor's Office and the Legislature.
Office of Cultural Change
The Office of Cultural Change is focused on relationship building as it seeks to grow a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging at DAS and across state government. Their Affirmative Action responsibilities center on partnering with small agencies, boards and commissions to create and implement their strategies and goals for workforce development.
