The Oregon Department of Aviation (ODAV) provides information to airport owners/operators to assist in maintaining and operating their airports. The Pavement Evaluation Program (PEP) is part of ODAV’s annual System Plan program. Through this program, pavement condition is evaluated at public use NPIAS airports in one of three PEP regions, which rotate through a three year cycle. The data from these reports is used to plan projects for the Pavement Maintenance Program (PMP) including maintenance, rehabilitation or replacement. PEP provides an efficient mechanism for Oregon airports to identify pavements requiring maintenance and rehabilitation project activities and establish their project priorities.
