Treatment

The ADPC Treatment Committee works closely with ADPC staff and other partners to improve and support the substance use disorder treatment continuum within Oregon.​

To support their charge, the committee will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of treatment strategies to grow a statewide, comprehensive approach to increase access to quality substance use disorder treatment, working to decrease barriers to treatment, and improving the collection and use of data to evaluate treatment access, processes, and outcomes, ultimately seeking to decrease disparities that exist across the state that impede access to these supports. The committee strives to support and maintain a treatment service continuum that contributes to a broader recovery-oriented system of care (ROSC), aiming to support more holistically those who experience substance use disorders with a goal of assuring that those who interact with this system of care are met with dignity, person-centered, evidenced informed, and culturally responsive services.
