The Oregon Short Term Fund Board is established by statute (ORS 294.885-294.895) with the purpose of advising the Oregon Investment Council and the Oregon State Treasury Investment staff. The Board also assists local governments in the development of investment policies concerning funds invested outside of the Oregon Short Term Fund.
The Board is made up of the Oregon State Treasurer or designee, three public members appointed by the Oregon State Treasurer and three local government members appointed by the Governor. Appointed board members serve a four-year term without compensation.
The Board meets quarterly. Meetings are open to the public, and public comment can be submitted to
OSTF.PublicComments@ost.state.or.us.
The deadline to submit written public comments for inclusion in the meeting packet is one week prior to the scheduled Board meeting. All submissions received after the deadline will be added to the meeting packet of the next scheduled meeting.

Local Government Investment Policies
The Board assists local governments in the development of investment policies concerning funds invested outside of the Oregon Short Term Fund. To that end, the Board has developed a sample investment policy from which local governments may draw when developing their own policies. The Board also reviews and comments on local government investment policies as required under ORS 294.135. Contact
