February 1 is National Unclaimed Property Day, a time to raise awareness about unclaimed property and help reconnect Oregonians with their lost assets.
The Oregon State Treasury manages the state’s Unclaimed Property Program and is dedicated to helping individuals recover their unclaimed funds and assets. From forgotten bank accounts to uncashed checks, the Treasury safeguards more than $1 billion in unclaimed funds for Oregonians. If you’re interested in helping spread the word, we’ve created a collection of tools, including draft messages and images, to help you promote National Unclaimed Property Day.
These tools make it easy to promote the day and direct people to Unclaimed.Oregon.gov, Oregon’s online searchable database for finding and claiming unclaimed property.
Together, we can help reunite Oregonians with these unclaimed funds that are rightfully theirs!
