The Oregon Public Defense Commission Communications team is partnering with members of CAP, Data, and Finance team to host monthly office hours to engage with contract providers. These open forums will be held via Microsoft Teams, and will provide an opportunity for providers to ask questions and provide feedback on OPDC policies. Please note the meetings will be recorded, with all content including the chat subject to public records request law.
OPDC seeks feedback on draft of 2025-2031 strategic plan
We are developing a strategic plan for 2025-2031, and we want your input. The plan outlines our goals aimed at:
- Addressing the shortage of public defenders
- Ensuring that the agency has a successful transition from the judicial branch to the executive branch
- Improving relationships with attorneys, investigators and other providers of public defense services
- Cultivating operational excellence within the agency
