ReOregon income requirements

ReOregon’s housing assistance programs are funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds. HUD sets income eligibility requirements to prioritize assistance for low- to moderate-income households. These requirements ensure aid reaches those most impacted by the 2020 Labor Day Disasters and also vary based on household size and location. Below, you will find detailed income limits and household definitions to help determine your eligibility for some ReOregon programs, such as the Homeowner Assistance and Reconstruction Program (HARP) and Housing Support Services.

Income limits per county

To qualify for some ReOregon programs, your household income must meet specific thresholds based on the area median income (AMI) in your county. Income limits are provided for 80%, 100%, and 120% of AMI. Use the chart below to determine your eligibility:

What is considered a household?

A household includes most people living under the same roof. However, the following individuals do not count as household members:

  • Foster children
  • Live-in aides, employees, or their children
  • Unborn children (only considered for bedroom count)
  • Children being pursued for legal custody or adoption who are not currently living in the home
  • Tenants
  • Temporary household members
