Vaccines for Children
The
Vaccines for Children program (VFC) supplies federally purchased vaccines for immunizing eligible children through age 18 in public and private practices - at no cost to participating health care providers.
Patients through age 18 are eligible if they are:
- enrolled in Medicaid or the Oregon Health Plan;
- uninsured; or
- American Indian/Alaskan Native.
Vaccines Access Program
A
Vaccine Access Program (VAP) provider is a public clinic that receives no-cost vaccines intended for VFC-eligible people under age 19, uninsured adults, and low-cost vaccines for privately insured children and adults; a provider that is committed to increasing vaccination rates and decreasing disparities in immunization coverage.
