About ECHO

Oregon ECHO, Early Childhood Health in Oregon, is a project of the Oregon Health Authority's Maternal and Child Health Section. ECHO collects data on the attitudes and experiences of mothers and three-year-olds. We follow up with mothers who answered the PRAMS survey to learn more about the health and well-being of preschoolers and their families. The data are analyzed in a way that allows findings to be applied to all Oregon mothers of these young children.

Oregon PRAMS-2 Survey

From 2006 to 2018, we interviewed Oregon PRAMS respondents when their baby was 2 years old. That survey is called PRAMS-2. It includes questions on such topics as well child care, child nutrition, social support, maternal physical activity and multivitamin use, childcare and screen time. The results are available for 2004 - 2011 births.
