Rachel came to the Transformation Center in May 2022 from the OHA Public Health Division. Rachel worked on chronic disease prevention and served on OHA’s COVID response, first on mitigation efforts and then in communications.
Over the past two decades, Rachel has worked in the health field (in nonprofit and government settings) supporting health and well-being in individuals and communities. Rachel has led and supported a variety of policy, systems and programmatic efforts in the areas of community development, chronic disease prevention, maternal-child health, food systems, and clinical quality improvement. Rachel has worked in and with the following sectors: health care, public health, education, early childhood/childcare, philanthropy and finance, and performing arts/arts education.
When not working at OHA, you might see Rachel at a soccer game, out hiking one of the many beautiful trails in the Pacific Northwest, or working in her garden.
