You Should Know...

Some anti-abortion organizations set up "pregnancy resource centers" or "crisis pregnancy centers". These centers may look like abortion clinics or counseling centers, but for many of them, their goal is to prevent people from getting abortion care or birth control. They may offer free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds but are sometimes run by people who are not licensed medical professionals. They may also give you false information about your pregnancy, the risks of abortion, and birth control options. Read How to Spot and Avoid Fake Abortion Clinics for more information.*
If you feel you have been harmed by one of these centers in Oregon, please report your experience to the Oregon Reproductive Rights Hotline at (503) 431-6460. The Hotline is a free and confidential resource with an Oregon licensed attorney.
