Diabetes is a complex medical condition that requires daily self-management along with regular visits to the doctor and other health providers. In response to the need for easily accessible, reliable education materials about diabetes, the Oregon Diabetes Program created this website.
This website includes a variety of diabetes education handouts that can help people with diabetes understand more about the condition and get better care. Health care providers can use these handouts to help explain specific topics to their patients and reinforce key messages of prevention and control of diabetes. Some have places for the doctor or other health care professionals to write down information or instructions. Each piece is provided in pdf format, in both color and black and white.
