Oregon State Hospital PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program

Oregon State Hospital (OSH) is seeking prospective PGY-1 pharmacy residents who are passionate about helping people. At OSH, we help adults with severe mental illnesses get better and return to lives of meaning and value in the community. A team of seasoned professionals will train you how to be patient-centered and recovery focused.


During your yearlong residency, you will:

  • Learn everything from antibiotic stewardship and patient chart reviews to medication histories and therapeutic decision recommendations;
  • Coordinate Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) students with the opportunity to earn a teaching certificate; and
  • Prepare for your psychiatric board certification and/or a PGY-2 residency in psychiatry.
