What Are Home and Community-Based Services?
Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) are Medicaid-funded services supports for people living in their home or other community-based settings. Oregon Health Authority provides these services through a state plan option called 1915(i). These services are available for adults ages 21 and over. They help people with long-term mental health needs live better on their own.
