Empowering HCBS Providers
Oregon Health Authority (OHA) is working to make it easier for providers to:
- Find services,
- Ask for help, and
- Get the funds necessary to care for individuals needing service.
This year, OHA met with providers and community partners. At these meetings, OHA:
- Heard the challenges, successes, and concerns in delivering services.
- Developed six goals for improving support to HCBS providers and community partners.
OHA's Goals
- Advance equity
- Coordinate care
- Support workforce
- Increase access
- Maximize resources
- Continuous improvement
What OHA Is Doing
Based on these goals, OHA is starting a few new activities to speak with you and hear your ideas. We hope you will join us and continue to call or email us when you have questions or concerns. We look forward to hearing from you.
Provider Meetings
The meetings will share information about OHA services. They will also share ways to help people get assessed for services.
