Administrative Requirements on Clinical Training Advisory Committee

Overview

The Administrative Requirements on Clinical Training Advisory Committee (ARCTAC) is an advisory committee to review the administrative requirements for Health Profession Student Clinical Training Standards in Oregon as required by Senate Bill 879 (2011).

Members are appointed by the Oregon Health Policy Board’s Health Care Workforce Committee. ARCTAC meets every year to review and make recommendations for changes to the program’s administrative rules, which include immunizations, screenings, trainings, and insurance coverage requirements.

Current Work

ARCTAC will convene Fall 2024 to review issues interested groups raise about the administrative rules. Updates to the rules will help address gaps in the requirements and streamline the administrative processes for student clinical rotations.

This website will be updated as ARCTAC finalizes its review in the coming months.
