Oregon Truck Inspector Training

About the Training

The Commerce and Compliance Division is responsible for training and certifying all Oregon truck safety inspectors. This includes Oregon Department of Transportation employees, state law enforcement officers and other regulatory personnel. Certified truck inspectors check more than 60,000 commercial vehicles and drivers in Oregon each year.

The truck inspection training offered here is available at no charge to employees of an Oregon law enforcement agency or party that has an Intergovernmental Agreement with the ODOT Commerce and Compliance Division. If your agency does not currently have such an agreement in place, please contact our Grants Coordinator at 503-373-1979.
